Chris Crompton's Custom Steel Grille

Chris Crompton of Abu Dhabi  had the radiator grille replaced with a custom steel one after he kept breaking the flimsy plastic that holds the existing one on.

"I made it out of mild steel, with an open “grille” in the centre, a bit like the Disco ones, this is a lot stronger and hopefully I won’t break this one!"

Commercial Billet Grille

Another option is a commercially available metal grille for the 4.0/4.6 models that I recently found at Street Beat Customs. Many auto accessories are now being made out of billets -- ie machined out of solid metal -- but this is the first such item I have seen for Range Rovers. The strong, polished grille, made by Trenz, is depicted in the photo below.
