Hardy
Neale of Australia has had custom bullbars made for his P38A Range
Rover. He has now gone through three successively improved
versions which are illustrated below on this page, and is making the
latest one (photo at top right and lower down on this page) available
to other owners.
If you are interested in getting one of these bumpers for your Range
Rover, please contact Hardy
Neale. If enough interest is generated, he is kindly arranging to
have them made to order with
a small portion of the proceeds donated to Rangerovers.net. If you live
in Australia you are in luck -- if outside Australia you may have to
wait until Hardy receives enough orders to make special overseas
shipping arrangements feasible.

| Hardy's initial design, mounted on Ron Beckett's RR. These bullbars have a very good approach angle. | |
| Hardy's second custom bullbar.
Note the cutout in the lower section for a sturdy recovery point. |
Hardy's third effort -- a really
professional bullbar made of 10 mm aluminum channel. |

Neale's third custom bumper/bullbar, mounted on his own Range Rover. Note the improved mounting of the "A" bar, which is also placed further out from the radiator grille. This provides better protection and allows room for a winch to be mounted inside the bumper if desired. Also note the upward slope of the outer ends of the bumper to improve approach angle at the wheels. The new bumper is very strong, being made from 10mm thick (just over 3/8 inch) aluminum channel. |
