Official test thread

Postby TimoV » Mon May 26, 2008 7:55 am

Hi,

Just tried to find an official area/thread where to do testing of avatars etc. and found none! Could there be one thread denominated to testing as a sticky? E.g. here under General Chatter?
Regards,
Timo

:?: In order to test your avatar, signature, settings etc you only need to look at any of your posts to see the outcome. What else are you wanting to test?

Nothing at the moment.

But should I make any changes or want to rehearse linking, text coloration etc. and have nothing meaningful to contribute, a testing area could prove useful. I just uploaded the avatar, had nothing to say and tried to find an area where my comment would not mess up a thread with valuable information (even though I knew that the avatar can be seen in previous posts). I just did not find one and decided to make one.

In some other forums I'm a member of, this kind of testing area exists.

There's always people having trouble attaching pictures and so on.

Just one thread as a sticky would eliminate the possibility of messing up useful threads and reduce the amount of junk threads created.
Regards,
Timo

Like I said, it is a default setting for all postings. I can certainly make it longer than 10 minutes, but seriously, how friggin long do you need to edit a typo?
